Using Webhooks

With PopHub, you can trigger actions when events occur inside the widget.

It’s like a little bit of magic—an event happens in the widget and poof 🪄, we send your webhook!

Events include:

  • Watching a PopHub

  • Watched a PopHub

  • Visitor Converted

  • Email Collected

  • PopHub Closed

Full details are available on the Webhooks page.

Creating a Webhook

  • Open the Webhooks page and choose the event you want.

  • Click Create for that event.

  • A modal will appear asking for your webhook information.

  • Fill in the fields and click Create in the modal — your webhook will be activated.

Quantity

  • You can add as many webhooks as you need for each event.

Custom Fields

  • Capture data from custom fields using the Text Input CTA.

  • See the Adding a CTA documentation to learn how to add a Text Input CTA.

  • If you add a Text Input CTA and set the element ID to email_address, include it in the webhook body as {{email_address}}.

Try it out — configure webhooks and let the automation run!
